有幾條elastricity既問題唔知做...
1.
Suppose in HK the public medical service is perfectly inelastic in supply. At present the public medical fee is below the    equilibruim level. Suppose the government raises the fee to the equilibruim level.
With the aid of diagram, explain what would happen to the following :
(i) the quantily of the public medical service demanded by the patients
(ii) the total revenue from the provision of the public medical service.
4.
Suppose there is a drastic increase in sewage charges which affects the total revenue of local restaurants. With the aid of diagram, explain the condition under which the total revenue would decrease.

第一題不太肯定
(i)as the price increase ,Qd will decrease(Law of Demand)...不知對不對...圖自己畫吧(默
p.s.一起手唔該洗有畫shortage=)
(ii)一起手都先畫有shortage
when government raises the fee to the equilibruim level
P↑......however Qt remains constant
as P↑,there is a gain intotal revenue
thus,total revenue↑
其實還是不答好- -
第二題比較肯定
但可能也有錯的可能:hug:
因為there is a drastic increase in sewage charges
therefore,supply will decrease as the cost of prodution increase
If the demand is elastic
%↑in P<%↓in Qt
gain in total revenue<loss in total revenue
thus,the total revenue would decrease.
囧我居然記錯了s↓ p↓囧
現改回了- -應該對了

Qd冇變

(ii)原本Qs<Qd,
變成Qs=Qd, Qd remains constant
Price increases and Qt increases

似乎調轉左
supply decreases
Price increases and Qd decreases
所以係elastic

1 (i)睇圖。當價格由P1升至Pe，Quantity demanded 會由Qd1跌至Qd2。
　　(Quantity demanded =/= Quantity Transacted)
   (ii) 睇圖。總收入會由P1 x Qd2 (即quantity transacted)升至 Pe x Qd2。
       (Quantity transacted應該係冇升過)

4. sewage charge升 --> (cost of production升!!)Supply會跌 --> Price 升 + Quantity Transacted 跌
如果總收入下降，即係Price 升既%少於Quantity Transacted 跌既%
即係quantity transacted好敏感, 可以話係Ed >1, 即elasticity of demand 係elastic

我已經成年冇掂過econ, 所以有機會錯的, 自己思考一下吧.

其實有無咩方法可以更容易知道 elastic既出現呢,
老師沒有什麼太大提到....
仲有...
對於elastricity,
可以唔以講下long -run下面既野,
好似有d野叫咩economies of scale等三個分支?

宜家先教緊short-run同long-run,
但係呀sir話ealstricity會考無咩考過,
都無詳細教....
