這是個有關Comparative advantage的問題....

下表是Country A and B 的 wheat and rice production

兩國的opportunity cost 都是 2 wheat/rice or 0.5rice/wheat
問題是..為何Country B 會有comparative advantage on producing rice 而 country A 有comparative advantage on producing wheat
我問完人, 他說因為plot PPF出來後會看到with trade的話 會有change in slope (黑curve)

紅點: country A produces only wheat while country B produces only rice


我看不到slope有甚麼特別....究竟是我plot 錯還是在這case之中,兩國都沒有comparative advantage on wheat/ rice production?

假設題目是指「Employing full resources in the country, Country A and Country B produce a quantity of wheat and rice as shown in the following table」

Comparative Advantage 只是指 ability to produce a good at a lower opportunity cost than another.

黑色線只是把兩國資源Sum up之後的產出可能。
理論上只要有trade的話，在黑線上任何一點生產都可以是Efficient的。
看不出有什麼特別。

這邊只是Country A 有Absolute Advantage吧。
題目還有沒有其他指示?

老師給了我們那四個data 就問我們哪國有absolute advantage, 哪國有comparative advantage
Country A has absolute advange on producing both wheat and rice 我明, 但我解不了為何
A has comparative advantage on producing wheat while B has comparative advantage on prducing rice

(還是老師自己錯了也不知...?)

假如是這樣的話，By definition這兒沒有Comparative Advantage，但有沒有Trade取決於其他Factors（在這兒是資料不足的，因為Country A has an absolute advantage over Country B，但是我們沒有Consumption Statistics）。
你可能要問一下老師在搞什麼鬼東東喔。

我第一句就說了假如題目是這樣的話，而魚姐也回了我正是這個情形。

請指教為什麼「A係一定冇ABS ADV」。
假設你所說的ABS ADV是指Absolute Advantage的話。

我同意我是錯了這部份喔，我答的時候沒有想清楚。
但我只是想知道假如「Employing full resources in the country」為什麼就能夠「確切肯定」Country A沒有絕對優勢。

這我是設錯了前題，「Employing equal resources in the country, Country A and Country B produce a quantity of wheat and rice as shown in the following table」。
但是對於OC的解答，我是認為沒有影響的。

只是想知道這條問題的「標準答案」是什麼樣子。

期待高手解答。
